Trash Day: Where I've Been

Trash Day (Otherwise Known as I Needed to Get Some Housekeeping Done) is  a semi-regular feature here on the blog. It will be characterized by a complete lack of story structure and will most likely be a collection of random thoughts, announcements and miscellaneous housekeeping tasks. Welcome to the inner workings of my mind....

OK. I don't expect you to forgive me for just up and leaving you hanging for the past several few couple of months. I know it was cruel and unusual. It was hard for me too. I missed ya'll. I also missed spewing sharing my brand of bitchy-ness humor with you. But I thought I share where I've been or at least what I've been up to.

There have been photo shoots!

If you want to check out more pictures from Mercedes senior shoot click the link.
There will be a post about Payton's birth coming up. It was AMAZING!
And lost teeth. Three Five to be exact; one from each child Myriam and Logan have lost two and Porter one. This all changed last night.

From left to right: Logan, Myriam and Porter.
There were birthdays all around; Myriam in April, the boys in May and the Hubby in June.

We've seen ballgames and movies.

More about the drive-in later.
And the house is finally on the market! We no longer live in a construction zone.

If anyone needs a reasonably priced 3 bedroom, 1 bath home in quaint Podunk, Kansas let me know.
You can check out the house here.
But possibly the most important thing that happened was the Hubby came home after working away from home for nearly four months, sometimes weeks would go by without seeing him. That was the hardest part of this whole experience. Hat's off to you single parents out there; I don't know how you do it!
(Well this changed last night too. The Hubby is leaving town for another few weeks starting Monday. Wish me luck singling parenting again.)

FYI--I will expand upon several of these topics for you in later posts.

Now I'm not promising that I won't ever leave you again, although I will think long and hard about it before hand. But I will tell you that the best way to keep up with me is to follow me on Instagram. I love Instagram... and if you'd been following me you wouldn't be so behind. (Yes, my being gone is really all your fault. Like how I did that?)

Peace Out!
