Songs That Make Us Sing: Happy Birthday

     This is a very special post because not only is my birthday this Sunday, but in a wonderful twist of fate it is also my cyber-bestie and MUCH older lovely co-host, Ginger of Not Just Another Mom of Twins' birthday as well! I know! How crazy is that?

     We (Ginger and I) have often remarked on the many coincidences that brought us together a couple of years ago; sharing a birthday is one of many, MANY reasons that have kept us friends her advanced age and wisdom is another reason. So if you are looking for a couple more bloggy buddies linking up here is a great way to start. Check the "rules". (Ginger's a stickler for rules, me not so much. LOL)

     So to celebrate our impending old age, I'm still younger! I chose a song to reflect Ginger's maturity. A golden oldie from her youth. (Did I mention that I'm MUCH younger than Ginger?)*

     In all seriousness, I want to wish my friend the best of birthdays. And because I just had to throw a few old age jokes in there, make sure that you are checking your mailbox bestie! I might have sent you a little surprise.... But I also have NO idea how long it will take to get all the way to Canada, it may end up being a Christmas present. The Podunk mail system was ever so slightly confused as to what kind of paperwork needed to be filed to send a little bauble to Canada. God forbid I ever need to send something off the continent!

*Ok, I'm only a year younger than Ginger but in dog ears that's HUGE!
