A Note From the Mommy--Food, Kids, and Klout

Hey all!
   First and foremost, because of the illness that has swept through the Mommy Household I don't have a "real" post for you today.  Oh well, get over it--I have.  On the plus side, all three kids seem to have recouped and are back to driving me bat shit crazy with aplomb!

   I did manage to load a super yummy muffin recipe on the Yum, Yum, Yum section.  I know, I know.  I do A LOT of muffin recipes.  But I have three kids under the age of 5!  If I make muffins I can be certain they will eat something for dinner!  Not to mention that if I make them from scratch I get to control what goes in them and what doesn't.  I don't hafta worry about chemicals or allergies (leave the nuts out if you need to, folks) or the amount of sugar that's in the food.  I'm in control!  (And I like that!)

   One of the few things I did, in between holding the kids hair back while they puked, was I managed to check my Klout rating.  Please note I checked it a couple of months ago for the first time and had a score of 17--I know, I suck.  Well, upon checking the website I discovered that I have more Klout than I would have ever thought, this little-Miss-Mid-West-straight-from-the-sticks-watch-out-I'm-coming-outta-nowhere-chick, possible.  Hold on to something folks--I'm now at a 45!  I know it's not Dooce numbers but come on! Betcha didn't think I knew who Dooce was, huh? I live in KANSAS!   It's ok, my kids weren't impressed either.  In fact after calling everyone I know my Momma and the Hubby, What?!? I promptly get summoned to the bathroom by Porter.  Just because you have a Klout rating of 45 doesn't get you out of butt wiping duty.  Maybe if I had Dooce numbers....
