For those of you joining me from somewhere other than the United States, Thursday was Independence Day, and many Americans are enjoying a long weekend. Barbecues, fireworks and family were on the itinerary for us but unfortunately, I have one kid getting over pneumonia and another running a really high fever, so we had to make do with grilled hot dogs and fireworks via YouTube. But at least we were together!

Even though my Co-Host Ginger, from Not Just Another Mom of Twins, isn't from the good ole US of A she did wish us a happy Fourth via Facebook and I thought that was really cool. Especially since Canada Day was just a few days earlier and I had no idea what she was talking about. Oops, my bad....
