Myriam's Hopscotch

     Living with an autistic child is wrought with difficulty. Thankfully it's also laced with humorous moments. If you've never interacted with an autistic child, you've never had the pleasure to communicate with an individual that will take you at your every word. Literally.

     Myriam's last day of Kindergarten is quickly approaching. One of the last activities of the year is a play day. The children are taken through different activities and obstacles. Explaining how and why an autistic child needs to complete these unscheduled activities is difficult even for a trained professional....
