Hi and welcome to my blog. I really think parents need to lighten up; I mean, if parenting was meant to be a serious endeavor they'd offer classes! Oh, wait....

I don't know if I've ever told you this but for some strange reason I love taking pictures... of cows. I have a folder on my laptop that is just OVERFLOWING with photos of cows. White cows, brown cows, milk cows, cows that are eating, cows that are sleeping, just all kinds of cows. One thing I've learned from photographing cows is that they LOVE having their pictures taken! Ok probably they're just curious or maybe hungry, either way after a few moments of snapping away I have the entire herd heading towards me, which is slightly unnerving because cows are really big animals when they are up close and personal.

Well, it's Monday again. It's time to take a second for yourself! So take a few deep breaths and find your inner calm--if necessary lock the kids in their closets. Enjoy!

This little guy came right up to me. After a couple of shots the entire herd was standing on the other side of this rather sloppy barbed-wire fence. I'll be honest I took a couple more shots after the "crowd"' had gathered but I was afraid they would go through the fence. I really didn't want to be responsible for the herd getting out.
Have a great Monday, folks!
