We're on a road trip!!!
Have you missed me yet?
In case you were counting, the van must contain 4 adults, 3 children, 36 outfit changes, toiletries for those 7 people, snacks and activities to occupy 3 children for a minimum of 6 hours (one way), 3 booster seats (for the car), electronic devices to occupy the adults for those 6 hours (one way) and pillows, blankets and lovies to make the car ride more comfortable. Oh and did I mention that Great-Grandma doesn't have any toys at her house, either?
And did I mention that neither the Hubby nor I is driving? That means that no major interstates will be used and that the maximum speed will be 45 mph. And because we are driving with three small children you can count on a rest stop about every hour. Maybe I need to plan on activities for the children for 8 hours....
Wish me luck!
*Just in case you are concerned about my home and that I'm am putting dangerous info out there for the world to read; we have an alarm system, a house sitter for the dogs, very nosy neighbors and three children, which means we don't have any money to have good stuff to steal anyway.
