Sometimes I wonder about my kids. My son's especially; Porter in particular. Today Myriam convinced the boys to play "babies" with her. Each of my three children got a baby doll to mother.
Myriam actually needed more than one because she decided that a flu epidemic had taken over her doll community. Now we are not the type of parents that thinks only girls should play with dolls. Far from it! My hubby had a doll; Frank, that was lovingly (and more than a little hesitantly) passed to Logan. Mostly I am just fearful for any future grandchildren my son's might decide to give me! I mean everything started off ok.
The boys seemed loving and sweet.
The babies were well hydrated!
And clean! (When asked what he was doing he replied,
"I's washin' him's hair.")
And accessorized! But that's where it took a turn for the worse....
I'm not sure you can tell but that doll is anatomically correct.
The doll is peeing on Logan...(sigh)...yeah, I know. Porter filled the thing with water and made it pee on his brother's head. When asked why he would do that he said he was potty training the baby.
I'm not sure what was worse, the doll peeing on Logan or the fact that the "plate" they were using to feed the babies from was a pair of Myriam's old training pants.
Happy Wednesday, everyone!

My boy's played with dolls too. My youngest is sweet, and my oldest was rough with it. My youngest tried to breastfeed his doll!
